Police Point Park’s Interpretive Program is getting ready to host a free pop-up store aimed to bring members of the community together and help reduce waste on the planet.

“Stuff Swap” will allow residents to share items they longer longer need but may have benefits to others in the community.

Residents are asked to bring clean, portable items that are in good condition and can include clothing, books, houseware, games and toys that they are willing to swap.

Items that are broken, stained, ripped, incomplete or partially consumed will not be accepted.

All items remaining at the end of the day will be donated to local nonprofit organizations.

“Stuff Swap” will take place Feb. 29 at the Nature Centre from 1-4 p.m. For more information contact the Nature Centre at 403-529-6225.
