Police are looking for the owner of a men’s championship ring embossed with “Taylor Cup Championship Ring” and bearing a San Diego Gulls logo.
Police recovered the gold ring after responding to a report of a suspicious individual trespassing in a yard at Iris Court just after 6 a.m. on Feb. 3.
The suspect was apprehended and was found to have outstanding arrest warrants. A subsequent search led to the recovery of stolen items that included the gold ring.
Police are seeking information on the owner of the ring and are asking anyone in the public who recognizes the ring to contact Const. Brooklyn Mackenzie or Scott Switzer at 403-529-8491.
