Precipitation is predicted by Environment Canada but generally warm conditions for the early evening and the event that will include a bonfire from 5-8 p.m. A Christmas Farmers Market is also being held indoors at the Cypress Centre Pavilion. Snow could taper off early Friday and sunny conditions are expected through the weekend. An abridged list of other yuletide events on tap in Medicine Hat through the season: – Annual Christmas Lunch at the Unison Veiner Centre, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday; – The Be Youth Centre will stage its Christmas Market fundraiser from 4-8 p.m. on Friday night, 1201 Kingsway Ave; – The Christmas Party for the animals at the Medicine SPCA is set to take place Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the location in the light industrial area. – German-Canadian Harmony Hall Christmas Dinner and Dance, Dec. 9, 5 p.m. at the Hall in Redcliff (advance tickets only). – Santa Claus Parade, sponsored by the Medicine Hat News Santa Claus Fund and IG Wealth, Monday, Dec. 11; – MH News Santa Claus Fund Charity Auction, Thursday, Dec. 14, 7 p.m. to close, Dayz-Off Pub; – Community Carol Sing, St. Barnabas Church with the Medicine Hat Symphonic Society, Sunday.
