Toys for Tickets campaign underway

bmiller@medicinehatnews.com Once again Hatters will be able to pay off their parking tickets with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy. Alberta Health Services Toys for Tickets campaign is currently underway. Residents who’ve recently received a AHS parking ticket can make a toy donation to Parking Services until Dec. 15 to pay it off. The value of each toy must be at least $25. AHS recommends toy donations of books, art supplies, electronics, baby toys, journals and gift cards. Toys should be in the original packaging and for ages newborn to 17 years old. All toys will be donated to various children’s foundations and charity organizations throughout the province. Last year more than 470 toys were donated province wide.
