Attempted murder charges for suspect in Brooks stabbing

https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Brooks RCMP has named the suspect in a stabbing that occurred Monday morning and charged him with attempted murder. Police responded to a residence in that city just before 10 a.m. on Sept. 11 and found a 61-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times. He was transported to hospital were he was in stable condition Monday afternoon. Mounties arrested Jared Potts, 32, at the scene and said Tuesday morning he had been charged with attempted murder, failing to comply with his probation order and an unspecified court undertaking. He remains in custody. A future court date has not yet been set. 6-5
