North-end bar badly damaged by Monday morning fire

The investigation continues after a fire gutted a north-end pub early Monday morning.

The windows of “Glassy Sports bar and grill” were left caked with smoke and residue on Monday as police and fire investigators worked to determine the cause of the blaze at 552 Rutherford St. SE.

That location was home for years to former establishment “Alabama’s” before it reopened as “Glassy” in early June.
