Exploring Earth’s Climate at Police Point Park

Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is inviting Hatters young and old to come out and learn more about earth’s atmosphere with its newest display at Police Point Park, Exploring Earth’s Climate. The display features a giant game of ‘Tipping Points’ Jenga, which challenges participants with keeping the healthy planet in balance, as well as information about Earth’s past, present and future climate, a community-build climate action wall and even a “tasty”demonstration of atmospheric pressure. Earth’s future climate is still ‘up the air’, reads a release from the Interpretive Program. “The choices we make today will ultimately affect life on this planet we call home. But before we make decisions about our future, it is important to understand how the atmosphere functions, and how our actions affect it.” The display will be up at the Police Point Park Nature Centre until Oct. 1. 5-4
