MHC campus is going cashless

Medicine Hat College students can leave the cash at home.

The college announced Wednesday the MHC bookstore will no longer be accepting cash effective July 1.

The college’s food services, including common grounds, the cafeteria and Crave will also be going cashless Aug. 1.

In a social media post, MHC says the transition to a cashless environment at those services provides a greater convenience, efficiency and security for the financial transactions on campus.
