Official results for local ridings of the May 29 provincial general election as released Thursday, June 8 by Elections Alberta.

Brooks-MH

Danielle Smith (UCP) – 13,315 (66.5 per cent).

Gwendoline Dirk (AND) – 5,477 (27.4 per cent).

Barry Morishita (AB) – 1,233 (6.2 per cent)

Spoiled/declined/rejected – 182.

Total ballots – 20,025. (56.9 per cent turn out).

Cypress-MH

Justin Wright (UCP) – 13,489 (61.9 per cent).

Cathy Hogg (AND) – 7,697 (35.7 per cent).

Matt Orr (Wildrose Loyalty) – 322 (1.5 per cent).

Cody Ray Both (Ind. Party) – 287 (1.3 per cent).

Spoiled/declined/rejected – 177.

Total ballots – 21,795. (53.2 per cent turn out).
