Saturday’s Doggie Doo Rendezvous to serve as fundraiser for SPCA

A Doggie Doo Rendezvous planned for Saturday will also serve as a volunteer-led fundraiser for the local SPCA.

Volunteers are asked to gather at the Westvue off-leash dog park between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The City of Medicine Hat is providing gloves and bags, but attendees should bring shovels to use during a sweep of the field.

The event will also feature a bottle drive, silent auction and hot dog stand to raise funds for the Medicine Hat SPCA, which will also accept pet food donations on site.

The Crossroads Vet Clinic will also be providing nail clipping for cash donations.

The Westvue off-leash area is located on 11th Avenue SW, near Gas City Campground.
