Yet another closure at Milk River ER

Once again, Milk River Health Centre’s Emergency Department is temporarily closed this weekend due to a lack of physician coverage.

The centre, which has faced numerous temporary closures in recent months, closed Friday evening at 5 p.m. It is expected to reopen at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Milk River and area residents in need of urgent medical care during the closure are recommended to call 911 for EMS assistance, or seek care at the Raymond Health Centre (60 kilometres away) or Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge (87 kilometres away).
