Yet again Milk River ER forced to temporarily close

Milk River Health Centre’s Emergency Department temporarily closed again Monday morning at 8 a.m. due to lack of physician coverage. The centre, which has faced numerous temporary closures in recent months, is set to reopen for 24-hour care at 5 p.m. today. During the closure, Milk River and area residents in need of urgent medical care are recommended to call 911 for EMS assistance, or seek care at the Raymond Health Centre (60 kilometres away) or Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge (87 kilometres away). 4-3
