Application deadline extended for Stampede Royalty competition

Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede has extended the application deadline for its 2023 Rodeo Royalty Competition to June 16 at 5 p.m. The annual competition seeks to find female candidates, aged 18-24, to fill the roles of Stampede Queen and Princess. Eligible candidates will compete in a series of competitions which judge personality, horsemanship and public speaking. Those chosen to fill the role will serve one-year terms in which they will represent MHE&S at roughly 50-60 public events.
