Vehicle collision near Alberta border knocks power out for many in southwest Sask.

https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Crews in southwest Saskatchewan worked overnight to restore power in a wide area near the Alberta boundary after a vehicle crash knocked out power late Thursday evening. The accident occurred before 11 p.m. on May 18. SaskPower estimated that full restoration would be complete by noon on Friday for towns and rural areas around Maple Creek, Piapot, Cypress Hills, Tomkins, Golden Prairie and Hatton. Residents of Webb, Gull lake and the RM of Carmichael reported power was restored by 12:30 a.m. 5-4
