Women in Business Committee hosting annual Inspire Luncheon on June 2

Medicine Hat’s Women in Business Committee is inviting members of the local business community to its upcoming Inspire Luncheon and award presentation, taking place at noon on June 2 at the Medicine Hat Lodge.

The annual luncheon offers female business community members a chance to come together and share their accomplishments, while recognizing those of their peers.

It is also an opportunity to celebrate select members who have made significant contributions to the city’s business community, one of whom will be presented with the Inspire Award.

This year’s nominees include Miranda Davies, Medicine Hat College School of Business and Continuing Education co-ordinator and instructor; Jamie Droeske, SACA Kickboxing owner/operator; Stephanie Gronning, Infinity Dance Inc. owner/operator; Kelli Ireland, City of Medicine Hat corporate communications specialist and part-time MHC instructor; Jennifer Kerslake, MHC Community Engagement director; Treena Klassen, Palliser Primary Care Network executive director; Nicole Sayna, Sanya’s Collective Healing owner/operator; Marlies Wirzba, Tim Horton’s franchise owner/operator.

“We’re super excited to have eight nominees from various diverse backgrounds,” WIB committee chair Cori Stodolka told the News, adding that this is the largest number of award nominees WIB has had since before the pandemic.

Tickets for the Inspire Luncheon will be available on eventbrite.ca as of May 1. Tickets are required to attend.
