MHPS investigating suspicious device found over weekend

The Medicine Hat Police Service is investigating a suspicious device discovered on the weekend.

On Saturday around 1 p.m., MHPS responded to a report of a suspicious device located in the area of Cactus Street SW. The item was removed safely with support from the Explosives Disposal Unit. There were no injuries as a result of this incident and the matter is now being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Section.
