Saamis Tepee lighting up in blue to honour fallen Edmonton officers

The Saamis Tepee is being lit up in blue this week to honour two Edmonton Police constables until their funerals on Monday.

Constables Brett Ryan and Travis Jordan were both shot and killed while responding to a domestic violence call in that city on March 16.

A regimental funeral and memorial service will be held at Rogers Place, where officers representing departments across Canada are expected to attend.

Locally, two memorial books are available in the lobby of the Medicine Hat police station for Hatters to sign until the end of business hours on Thursday.
