St. Patrick’s School to host volleyball club for elementary students

At the regularly scheduled board meeting of the Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education, a motion was passed to approve a new MHCBE Volleyball Development Club hosted by St. Patrick’s School.

Secretary-treasurer Greg MacPherson presented the proposal to the trustees. St. Patrick’s will charge $30 to each player. The cost will cover a T-shirt, pizza party, tournament awards and equipment replacement.

The club will run for the month of March and be held twice a week after school.

Board chair Kathy Glasgo asked if the club was open to the public or only for MHCBE students. MacPherson replied that it is earmarked only for MHCBE elementary students across the division.
