Special Olympics Polar Plunge this weekend in Hat

Hatters are cooling down in a big way for fundraising efforts this weekend.

Special Olympics Medicine Hat is hosting the 2023 Polar Plunge on Sunday at Big Marble Go Centre.

The Polar Plunge, which starts at 2 p.m., is in support of Special Olympics Alberta and is the sixth and final of the year with five already hosted in Edmonton, Canmore, Lethbridge, Calgary and Red Deer. This is the first year the plunge has been held in person since 2019 and is its 12th anniversary.

Registration begins at 1 p.m. and is available to anyone over 16-years-old.
