Community engagement session being hosted Feb. 22 by AHS in Milk River over ER closures

Alberta Health Services is hosting a community engagement session Feb. 22 for Milk River and area residents following a string of temporary closures of the Milk River Health Centre’s emergency department.

The session will run 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Milk River Civic Centre.

AHS representatives will be on site to address community member concerns and provide information on what actions are being taken to address the closures, the cause of which is cited as lack of physician coverage.
