Winning $250K lottery ticket sold in the Hat

Mary Melita Hynes won $250,000 through the Dec. 1 Daily Grand EXTRA lottery draw.

Hynes purchased the winning ticket at South Ridge Husky on Strachan Road on the day of the draw.

In a release form the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, Hynes said she has no immediate plans on how she will spend her winnings.
