Holiday lights coming down

Crews have began to remove festive light displays from streetlight standards along Medicine Hat’s major routes on Monday.

The schedule is weather dependent and will progress: downtown; First Street SE; Maple Avenue Bridge; Eighth Street NE; Division Avenue N.; Kingsway and S. Railway; Trans-Canada Way; Carry Drive; Dunmore Road; and 13th Avenue SE.

The public is reminded to use caution, obey signs and slow down when crews are present on the roadway.
