Community Foundation seeks nominations for five Queen’s Jubilee Medals

The Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta is looking to recognize five community members with Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medals, and is requesting nominations from the public.

Awarded to individuals who perform outstanding acts of service, the medals are a one-time commemoration of the late monarch’s 70-year reign, an honour formally recognized by the Governor General of Canada. The medals presented by CFSEA are five of 7,000 to be awarded across the province.

Nominations are open from now until 4:30 p.m. Nov. 18. CFSEA asks that nominees remain unaware of their nomination.
