Teenager dies in Highway 41 rollover

A teenaged driver is dead after a rollover on Highway 41 north of New Brigden, the Consort RCMP detachment has said.

The crash occurred at about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, and involved one pickup truck pulling a trailer and skid-steer. The male driver, 17, was pronounced dead at the scene near Township Road 325, south of Monitor.

The RCMP states investigators believe the driver over-corrected after entering the ditch. Occupational Health and Safety officers are now investigating.
