BBQ and corn roast at Elkwater on Sunday

This Sunday evening, head on out to Elkwater for the annual end of season barbecue and corn roast.

While this is the first one since 2019, The Elkwater Community Association normally holds one as an annual event.

“It is something we like to put on for the community. This is our annual fall windup event,” said June Blaquiere, secretary and booking contact.

Following the meal there will be family friendly bingo for all ages in the community hall. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and bingo starts at 7:30 p.m., cost is $1 per card and the same card can be used for all the bingos.

The BBQ and corn roast will be held at the Elkwater Community Association Hall at 318 – Fourth Avenue from 4:30-6 p.m. The cost is $5, which includes a hamburger or hotdog, corn on the cob, and a beverage.
