Clarification: Overdose Awareness Day details

A story about International Overdose Awareness Day in the Aug. 26 edition of the News, omitted the date, time and location of an upcoming event for the day.

Organized by the Medicine Hat Drug Coalition, the event will take place from 5-8 p.m. on Aug. 31, in the green space next to the Medicine Hat Public Library and giant chess set.

The public event is free. Attendees are invited to gather, share stories and experiences, learn about overdose and prevention techniques, as well as enjoy a barbecue and music.
