Ribfest heads downtown this year to new Towne Square

Ribfest is taking over Medicine Hat’s Towne Square from Aug. 26-28, for what organizers promise will be a weekend of flavour and fun.

The annual event – organized by Travois Ale Works – was scaled down the past two years, but is returning in full force with four professional ribbers, food trucks, beer gardens, live music featuring several Medicine Hat musicians, children’s activities and local market vendors.

As well as offering Hatters a tasty time, Ribfest also provides support for local non-profit organizations, such as the Rotary Club of Medicine Hat.

“Ribfest is a great community event for the whole family,” says organizer and Travois co-owner Chris Perret. “We look forward to welcoming everyone downtown.”
