Senior’s scooter stolen

Local police are asking for tips to recover a red mobility scooter that was stolen from a home in Riverside late last week.

The 2022 model “GIO” brand scooter went missing from the an address on the 100 Block of Third Street NE, on Friday. There is some minor damage on the rear left wheel. Anyone with information should contact the police non-emergency line at 403-529-8481.

Missing woman

Mounties in B.C. are looking for a woman they say has a connection to Medicine Hat and may be travelling west.

Samantha Bear, 29, was last seen in Kamloops on July 21, and the five-foot tall, Indigenous woman with a medium build and dark brown hair and eyes may be in Edmonton, Medicine Hat, or Prince Albert, Sask., according to Kamloops RCMP.

Police are looking to confirm her well-being. Anyone with information can contact their local police or the Kamloops detachment at 250-828-3000.
