Medicine Hat SPCA hosting open house barbecue on Saturday

The Medicine Hat SPCA is having an open house this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the shelter on Southwest Drive SW.

The SPCA is trying to raise funds, said shelter director Tom Carney. Payment will be by donation for the hot dogs and pop. The shelter will be showing off its new swag as well, which includes water bottles and bandanas featuring the SPCA logo.

There will also be a bottle drive, so bring down all those empties to support the MHSPCA. See their Facebook (@MHSPCA) for more details.
