Nate Haller is from Waterloo, Ont. but has always loved country music and looks forward to every show he plays in Alberta.
Haller went solo about a year ago and hasn’t looked back.
Opening for the Trace Adkins show on July 27 is a one-off in Haller’s touring schedule this summer.
“We were just excited to get back to playing any show this year, as was everyone. When I found out I was going to open for Trace Adkins, I was so excited. It is a cool one-off show and then I’m playing other festivals,” stated Haller.
Haller was recently in Alberta playing at the Calgary Stampede, and is returning for the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede. Right after, on July 29, he will be playing a festival in Pigeon Lake.
“We’ve been working on a new show,” said Haller. “Playing anywhere out west is great, but Alberta is so fun, the fans are crazy. I’m really looking forward to it. It’s been a crazy whirlwind already but it’s going to get even crazier.”
Before going solo, Haller was playing with the Reklaws for the three years prior to the pandemic. Before that he spent about seven years playing with Kira Isabella.
“That was the best, I got a unique perspective of the industry and how it worked, or certain parts of it. I’ve always loved country music, so it was an easy transition to my own solo career,” explained Haller.
Haller says he’s thrilled to be coming to play in Medicine Hat and the show will be one you don’t want to miss.
“I’m so excited to see people and get back out west. I think it’s going to be a good show.”
