Tree debris from storm being accepted at regional landfill free of charge until July 23

Those looking for a place to haul debris from fallen and damaged trees can make their way to Redcliff/Cypress Regional Landfill this week to dispose of the wood free of charge.

The landfill is offering the free collection until July 23.

The Redcliff/Cypress Regional Landfill is open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cypress County has also placed waste bins near the affected area around Highway 523, while the Seven Persons transfer site is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
