Motorcyclist has non life-threatening injuries after north-end collision Tuesday

A motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday night after a collision in Crescent Heights with a small SUV, police said Wednesday.

Traffic was halted and ambulances attended the crash at the intersection of Division Avenue and Northlands Way at about 6 p.m.

Police say a southbound Toyota Rav4 was attempting to turn left off Division Avenue when the 58-year-old biker was travelling north through the green light.

The injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Investigators are now asking witnesses and those who performed immediate first aid to contact them to continue the investigation.
