Hydrogen potential report due Wednesday

The Southeast Alberta Hydrogen Taskforce was created in the summer of 2021 with the announcement of a feasibility study to examine the creation of the province’s second “Hydrgoen hub” in the Palliser region. City and provincial administrators have said hydrogen production has the potential to help the province meet environmental goals while diversifying the economy, and keying new industrial investment. The report, titled “Towards Hydrogen,” will be released Wednesday afternoon at Medicine Hat city hall with regional local government partners and the authors in attendance. 6-5
