‘Parks Day’ is July 16

An incorrect date was included in a recently published collection of summer events scheduled throughout southeast Alberta.

“Parks Day” at Elkwater Lake will take place on Saturday, July 16. It will celebrate the Cypress Hills and parks across the nation with birthday cake at the visitors centre, an evening barbecue and bingo game at the Community Centre and fireworks at 10:15 p.m.

The Elkwater Community Association is promoting the event.
