Locally, diesel remained high after the local price broke through the $2 mark early last week at some stations in Medicine Hat, and sat as high at $2.099 per litre at the at Esso in Redcliff on Tuesday.

Most stations were just below $2 this week.

Both stations in Walsh, Alta. showed prices at about $1.889, while the cheapest regular unleaded price in the province, according to Gas Buddy was $1.799 at the Safeway in Brooks.
