First phase of hydrant water stations open

Medicine Hat News The first four of 10 public fire hydrant water bottle fill stations are now in operation. The stations can be found at the Towne Square; on Second Street SE between S. Railway Street and Sixth Avenue; at the corner of McCutcheon Trail and Basset Crescent; and at the corner of South Ridge Trail and Stratton Way. The fill stations are part of a pilot project brought forward by the city. City workers have already completed safety testing on the first four stations and will monitor them until the end of June. The final six stations are expected to be in operation sometime in July. 5-4
