City posts video series on trail etiquette

The City of Medicine Hat is reminding residents to be courteous when using trail systems, with a new series of videos showing trail etiquette.  

The videos are featured on the city’s website and explain respectful trail usage practices, such as remaining to the right of the trail and remaining aware of those using different modes of transportation.

“We see so much activity on our trails every day,” parks and recreation special projects co-ordinator Kara Brake said. “Our trails are utilized by people who like to walk, cycle, jog and by families who bring their children and their four-legged friends. Not only that, but our trail system is accessed by people of all ages and abilities. We want everyone to feel safe.”
