W. Boundary Road repairs enter final stage

Upgrades to W. Boundary Road which began in 2017 are soon expected to conclude, as the city enters its final stages of road construction.

The upgrades, which aim to repair failing infrastructure, are expected to be done in early July. Until such time, portions of W. Boundary Road north of the Trans-Canada Highway to Box Springs Boulevard will be closed, or have limited access.

Stage one begins June 20, and is expected to last two weeks, during which time there will be no access to the area from the TCH.

Motorists in the area will be directed through several different detours. 

The city reminds drivers to obey all signs posted in the construction zone.
