Public can sign guestbook at city hall to be sent to Queen Elizabeth II

Well wishes from Medicine Hat will soon be en route to Queen Elizabeth II, as she celebrates her platinum jubilee – marking 70 years on the throne.

The City of Medicine Hat will be offering congratulations to the queen later this month, when a guestbook filled out by Hatters will be sent to Britain. Hatters have until June 17 to sign the book, which is located in the lobby of city hall.

Additionally, the city will join in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Beacon community beacon initiative by illuminating Finlay Bridge in purple light from June 2-7.
