Redcliff resident William Ranger is still reeling from his $100,000 Lotto Max Extra win.
Ranger purchased a ticket for the May 13 Lotto Max draw in Emerald Park, Saskatchewan. A few days later, he checked it at a Redcliff store and saw he won.
“I didn’t have my glasses on but there were a lot of zeros,” Ranger said. “I think, the only thing I’ve won (before) was $100, so this is a few more zeros than that.”
The first thing Ranger plans to do with his winnings is pay off debt. He plans to put the remaining amount toward his yearly trip to Mexico.
“It’s an overwhelming send of relief,” he said. “It’s certainly a godsend.”
