MH Exhibition & Stampede weekly Farmer’s Market returns on Saturday

Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede’s annual Farmer’s Market is returning for its 25th year Saturday.

“The market always has a community feel,” Doreen Gunderson, Stampede co-ordinator, told the News. “People are so used to coming out and shopping. It’s like an old friend we can’t wait to see after six months (of winter).”

Approximately 50 local vendors will be present at this year’s market, selling everything from handmade home and garden decor, to baked goods, to flowers. Shoppers also have the chance to win products through half-hourly raffles, which are returning for the first time in two years.

The market runs every Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the the Stampede’s Fieldhouse, from May 21 to Oct. 1.
