Painted butterflies will scatter in Hope for Nature campaign

By Medicine Hat News on May 12, 2022.

Hand-painted wooden butterflies will soon be scattered throughout Police Point Park.

The butterflies are part of the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program’s Hope for Nature – an offshoot of the city’s Project Hope campaign, which promotes positivity through shared messages of hope.

Park interpreters are inviting Hatters to drop-in to the park’s Nature Centre and decorate their own butterfly between May 15 and June 15.

There is no fee associated with the activity. Supplies will be provided by the Interpretive Program.
