City contractors inspecting properties for natural gas leaks

Medicine Hat News City of Medicine Hat contractors will be conducting inspections of 7,548 residential and commercial properties for the annual natural gas distribution network leak survey and infrastructure assessment. The inspection will begin in the Crestwood and Southview neighbourhoods, and is expected to be completed between May 2 and May 10. To complete the inspection, city contractors will need to access the exterior of each property. Contractors will be checking pipes, risers, regulators and meters.
