With the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta’s annual Vital Conversations Event quickly approaching, the organization is encouraging Hatters and those living in the southeast region of the province to take part in the 2022 Vital Conversations Survey and Vital People Awards nomination process.

CFSEA’s Vital Event aims to measure the vitality of communities in Alberta’s southeast through community engagement and data assessment. Prior to the event, set for June 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m, the community is invited to offer opinions with the Vital Conversations Survey, which can be found on CFSEA’s website or accessed by scanning the QR code. Those who complete the survey are able to put their name in a draw for a $100 gift card to a local business of their choice.

In addition, the community is being asked to submit nominations for this year’s Vital People Awards, which recognizes efforts of frontline employees or volunteers with local charitable organizations, and provides two winners with $500 each.

Nominations can be submitted by executive directors or senior managers of registered charities until April 29. The nomination form can be found at cfsea.ca/we-give/vital-people. Winners will be announced at the Vital Conversations Event.
