Police seek public help in locating suspects for weekend assault, fires

Medicine Hat police are appealing to the public for two separate instances, both of which occurred Sunday.

Police are asking residents in and around the 200 block of Third Street NE to review security camera footage following an assault which took place in the area Sunday at approximately 11 p.m., leaving one male injured.

They are also asking the public to review security cameras following a series of suspicious fires which took place that evening. The first fire was reported at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Ross Haven Court, the next at approximately 8:25 a.m. on Radisson Place and finally, the third, at 12:15 p.m. in the 200 block of Second Street NE.
