Siksika man charged with murder after autopsy

https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Mounties have laid a murder charge against a man on the Siksika Nation following an autopsy on a body determined it was a homicide. RCMP Major Crimes unit stated in a release Saturday it had charged Barry Junior Yellowfly, 41, of the Siksika Nation, with second-degree murder. On Feb. 27, officers were called to investigate after a body was found. The deceased person was identified this weekend as Mardi Scalplock. She was 33. Yellowfly is scheduled to appear in Siksika Provincial Court on March 24. 6-5
