Community Foundation looking for volunteers for its board of directors

By Medicine Hat News on March 3, 2022.

The Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta is looking for volunteers to fill vacancies within its board of directors.

Interested parties must have a proven record of community involvement and in-depth knowledge of business operations, and must be able to dedicate approximately five hours per month over a three-year member term.

Board members will guide the organization as it works to provide local charities with donor funding.

“CFSEA’s mission is to create meaningful connections between donors and local charities for the permanent benefit of southeastern Alberta,” acting executive director of CFSEA Niki Gray said in a Wednesday release. “Please consider volunteering your time to help support a vibrant, healthy and caring community.”

Letters of interest outlining applicants’ relevant experiences may be sent to CFSEA board chair Frances Barnes, at board@cfsea.ca, no later than April 15.
