By Medicine Hat News on February 11, 2022.

Medicine Hat College announced Wednesday it would be awaiting further instruction from provincial officials before rescinding its policy concerning COVID-19 public health measures.

MHC confirmed to the News on Thursday it received a directive from Advanced Education on Wednesday evening which stated, “Post-secondary institutions will have the full ability to return to pre-pandemic delivery without the need to enforce physical distancing, implement proof of vaccination programs and masking effective March 1.”

MHC will be following the directive. Officials at the college notified students of the changes Thursday, but assured masks and sanitizer would still be available.
