Montana, a state of 1.1 million, set to surpass 200K total COVID cases

Montana’s 200,000th case of the coronavirus is expected to be diagnosed today as new cases rise in the state of 1.1 million people.

Active cases rose to 3,738 on Tuesday following the long weekend, continuing an upward trend that began in late December.

Ten new cases in Hill County brought active cases in the Havre area to 13. A total of 3,450 cases have been positively identified in the county of 15,000 residents older than five.

The percentage of those eligible to receive vaccine who are considered fully immunized sits at 53 per cent statewide and 58 per cent in Hill County.
