https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Three men, including one from Medicine Hat, have been charged by Mounties in Brooks with breaking and entering. Officials with the RCMP detachment there state the three men were arrested during a traffic stop in that city on Dec. 19 after police responded to a reported break and enter attempt near Fraser Avenue and Second Street W. The incident occurred at about 10 a.m. on the Sunday morning, at which time security camera footage identified a suspicious vehicle, according to police. Arrested and charged with 11 counts related to the alleged break-in were Kevin Sanford, 46, Donald Perini, 46, and James Shaw, 43. Perini, a Hatter, and Shaw were additionally charged with resisting a police officer. They were each released on $1,250 bail and will next appear in Brooks Provincial Court on Jan. 12. Sanford, who was also charged on a Canada-wide warrant for violating release conditions, was remanded in custody and was to appear in court on Wednesday. 8
